Algonquin Regional High School
Algonquin Regional High School is a public high school located in Northborough, Massachusetts, United States. The school serves the students of the Northborough-Southborough Regional School District (NSRSD) comprising both Northborough and neighboring Southborough. The school's mascot, as of February 11, 2022, is the Titan. The former mascot was the Tomahawk, known by many as the "T-Hawk." On April 28, 2021, the Northborough-Southborough Regional School Committee voted, 9-0, to retire the Tomahawk as its mascot. A study group was assembled to determine a new mascot, which was voted on by the student body at that time. The school's colors are maroon and gold. Algonquin Regional's Superintendent is Greg Martineau and its Principal is Sean Bevan. Northborough, Massachusetts
Northborough is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. The official spelling of the town's name is "Northborough," but the alternative spelling "Northboro" is also used. The population was 15,741 at the 2020 census. History The areas surrounding Northborough were first settled by The Nipmuc people. Europeans set up a plantation on May 14, 1656, following a petition for resettlement from the people of the Sudbury Plantation to the General Court of the Bay Colony. On January 24, 1766, the district of Northborough was established within neighboring Westborough. On August 23, 1775, the district became a town, and on June 20, 1807 part of neighboring Marlborough was annexed to Northborough. Acton-Boxborough Regional High School
Acton-Boxborough Regional High School (ABRHS) is an open-enrollment high school in Acton, Massachusetts, United States. A part of the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, it serves the Massachusetts towns of Acton and Boxborough and has students in grades 9 through 12. It is situated downhill from the Raymond J. Grey Junior High School, at 36 Charter Road in Acton. Raymond J. Grey Junior High School occupies the facility that, until 1973, was the high school In 1999 multiple fires were set at ABRHS. The first fire began near the gymnasium but was quickly extinguished.
