Samir Amar Lacheheb (born 30 June 1988) is a French-Algerian footballer. He currently plays for ASD Lampo 1919. Career Lacheheb began his career in the junior ranks of several French clubs: RCF Paris, Le Havre AC and AC Ajaccio. In 2007, he signed with Serie D-side A.S.D. Cecina where he scored 12 goals in 28 games. His performances earned him a move to Ternana Calcio. Algerian Americans are Americans who are of Algerian descent or Algerians who have American citizenship. According to the 2000 United States Census, there are over 8,000 Americans of Algerian descent. After Algeria's war of independence, which ended in 1962, many Algerian students immigrated to the US to enroll in universities. Other Algerians, including scientists and doctors, also immigrated to the US to live there permanently. In the 1990s many Algerians were persecuted in their homeland for their political views which, together with the lack of jobs there, forced many of them to emigrate. According to the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), most Arab non- Italian citizens residing in Italy come from North Africa, most notably from Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. Luca Guadagnino (; born 10 August 1971) is an Italian film director, producer, and screenwriter. His films are often characterized by their emotional complexities, sensuality and sumptuous visuals. He is also known for his frequent collaborations with actors Tilda Swinton, Timothée Chalamet and Michael Stuhlbarg, editor Walter Fasano and screenwriter David Kajganich. Amara Lakhous
Amara Lakhous (born Algiers, 1970) is an Italian author, journalist and anthropologist of Algerian origin. He currently lives in New York City. Early life Lakhous was born in 1970 in Algiers, Algeria, in a Berber family with nine siblings. He graduated with a degree in philosophy from the University of Algiers. He also obtained a degree in cultural anthropology from the La Sapienza University in Rome with a thesis on the second generation of Muslim Arab immigrants in Italy. Career Lakhous wrote his first book, titled ''The Bedbugs and the Pirates'', in 1993. It was written in the Algerian dialect of Arabic and published in a bilingual Arabic-Italian text in 1999. In 1994, Lakhous began work as a reporter for the Algerian national radio. Shortly thereafter, he left for Italy following death threats from Islamists. Tahar Lamri (born 1958, in Algiers) is an Algerian writer. Biography Tahar lived in Libya from 1979 to 1984.
