Algerian Footballer Of The Year
The Algerian Footballer of the Year is an annual football award for the best Algerian player presented by El Heddaf-Le Buteur since 2001. The first winner of the award was Olympique de Marseille midfielder Djamel Belmadi. As of 2015, only Karim Ziani, Madjid Bougherra and Riyad Mahrez have won the award on two consecutive occasions . Of the five, only Karim Ziani won his awards playing for two different teams. Baghdad Bounedjah
Baghdad Bounedjah ( ar, بغداد بونجاح, born 24 November 1991) is an Algerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd and the Algeria national team. Throughout his club career, Bounedjah has played for Algerian sides RCG Oran and USM El Harrach, and Tunisian side Étoile du Sahel, before joining Qatari club Al Sadd in 2015. Karim Matmour ( ar, كريم مطمور; born 25 June 1985) is an Algerian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
