Alfredo Ortiz
Alfredo Ortiz is an American musician, primarily a drummer and percussionist. He toured with the Beastie Boys as their drummer and percussionist from 1996 until their final show in 2009. He also appeared in their live concert film, '' Awesome; I Fuckin' Shot That!'', and was featured in their Grammy Award-winning instrumental album, ''The Mix-Up''. Alfredo has been the drummer for other artists such as Money Mark, New York group Morningwood, Los Angeles rockers Red Exiles, and Tito & Tarantula. Ortiz has worked with other bands and musicians including Money Mark, Kathleen Hanna, Los Lobos, The Offspring, Yeska, Ozomatli, BS 2000, Blackalicious, Los Villains, Tommy Guerrero, Mariachi El Bronx, Chromeo, Kelis, Sepultura, Gogol Bordello, Jack White, and Salvador Santana. Stradbally
Stradbally () is a town in County Laois, Ireland, located in the midlands of Ireland along the N80 road, a National Secondary Route, about from Portlaoise. It is a townland, a civil parish and historic barony. It is known for its "Steam Rally" and the Electric Picnic. BS 2000 (also known as Beat Science 2000) was an American rock music, rock and hip hop music, hip hop group formed by Ad-Rock, Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (member of Beastie Boys) and Amery Smith, Amery "AWOL" Smith (drummer for Suicidal Tendencies and touring drummer for Beastie Boys) featuring Janay North. Mark Ramos Nishita (born February 10, 1960), known professionally as Money Mark, is an American producer and musician, best known for his collaborations with the Beastie Boys from 1992 until 2011. Early life Born in Detroit to a Japanese-Hawaiian father and a Chicano mother, Nishita moved with his family to Los Angeles, California when he was six. Career His first album ''Mark's Keyboard Repair'' (1995), was made up of keyboard driven pop-funk songs recorded at demo quality. Guy Ritchie used a song from the album in ''Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels''. ''The Mix-Up'' is the seventh studio album by Beastie Boys, released on June 26, 2007. The album consists entirely of instrumental performances and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album. Background On May 1, 2007, an e-mail sent to those on Beastie Boys' mailing list revealed the album is all instrumental. On June 21, 2007, a legal stream of the entire album was released on BrooklynVegan.com. ''Awesome; I Fuckin' Shot That!'' (alternate title: ''Awesome; I... Shot That!'') is a 2006 concert film by American hip-hop group Beastie Boys, directed by Adam Yauch under the name Nathaniel Hörnblowér. It was created by giving camcorders to 50 audience members of a sold out concert at Madison Square Garden on October 9, 2004. The audience members were instructed to keep the cameras rolling at all times. For a low budget operation, all cameras were returned to the place of purchase for a refund. The film first screened on January 6, 2006 to the fans that shot the footage. Also that same month it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. There was a one-night screening across the country on March 23, and the film was then given a general release on March 31, 2006. Ozomatli is an American rock band, formed in 1995 in Los Angeles.
