Alfredas Bumblauskas
Alfredas Bumblauskas (born 18 November 1956) is a professor at Vilnius University and one of the best known Lithuanian historians. After graduating from Žemaitė school in Telšiai, he enrolled in Vilnius University in 1974. Bumblauskas received his doctoral degree in 1987, and was mentored by Edvardas Gudavičius. He was formerly dean of the Faculty of History and now heads the Department of Theory of History and Cultural History at Vilnius University. He has sponsored and participated in several TV shows about history and culture. Bumblauskas has been a visiting scholar at the University of Helsinki, the University of Graz, and the University of Warsaw, and is a member of the editorial board of the ''Przegląd Wschodni''. Alfredas Kulpa-Kulpavičius
Alfredas Kulpa-Kulpavičius (March 28, 1923 – May 16, 2007) was a Lithuanian architect and artist best known for his work on Canadian churches. Biography Kulpa-Kulpavičius was born in Baisogala. Between 1941 and 1943, he studied at Vytautas Magnus University and from 1942-1943 at the Kaunas Institute of Applied Arts. In 1944, he moved to Germany and studied at Leibniz University Hannover from 1946–1948, and the Darmstadt Technical University from 1948-1952. Beginning in 1952, he lived in Canada, where he established his architectural company in Toronto. Kulpa-Kulpavičius was responsible for work on many buildings, many of them churches. Alfred Naujocks
Alfred Helmut Naujocks (20 September 1911 – 4 April 1966), alias ''Hans Müller'', ''Alfred Bonsen'', and ''Rudolf Möbert'', was a German SS functionary during the Third Reich. He took part in the staged Gleiwitz incident, a false flag intended to provide the justification for the attack on Poland by Nazi Germany, which ultimately culminated in starting World War II. Early life Naujocks was born in Kiel and attended the University of Kiel, where he studied engineering. In 1931, after an incomplete apprenticeship as a precision mechanic, he joined the SS. A well known amateur boxer, he was frequently in brawls with the communists.
