Alfred Gonti Pius Datubara
Alfred Gonti Pius Datubara, (born 12 February 1934) was the Indonesian Roman Catholic archbishop of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medan, Archdiocese of Medan from 1976 to 2009. Datubara was born in Lawe Bekung in Southeast Aceh Regency, Indonesia, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1964. He served as the titular bishop of the Herceg Novi in 1975. In 1976 at the age of 42 Datubara was installed as the first native-born Indonesian Archbishop of Medan succeeding Antoine Henri van den Hurk. He held the title of archbishop until 2009 when he reached the mandatory retirement age of 75. He is a member of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. Herceg Novi
Herceg Novi ( cyrl, Херцег Нови, ) is a coastal town in Montenegro located at the Western entrance to the Bay of Kotor and at the foot of Mount Orjen. It is the administrative center of the Herceg Novi Municipality with around 33,000 inhabitants. Southeast Aceh Regency ( id, Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara) is a regency in the Aceh special region of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. In 1974, the Southeast Aceh Regency was created by being separated from the Central Aceh Regency; however in 2002 the northern part of this regency was itself split away to form the new Gayo Lues Regency.
