Alfi (car Manufacturer)
The Alfi was a German automobile built in Berlin (Prussia) by an electrical company between 1921 and 1924. The same company had been responsible for the AAA (AG für Akkumulatoren- und Automobilbau) electric cars and vans which were supplied in large numbers to the German Post Office. In 1922 when they decided to move to engine driven cars they changed their name to Alfi, derived from the owners name Alex Fischer. The first Alfi model had a flat-twin engine. This was followed by a side valve inline-four engine manufactured by Steudel of Kamenz in Saxony. Next came an inline four of built by Atos of Berlin. A new Alfi company, Alfi Automobile GmbH was formed in 1927, also by Alex Fischer. This time the cars and vans were three-wheelers powered by DKW engines driving the single front wheel. Monosomy 9p
Monosomy 9p (also known as Alfi's Syndrome or simply 9P-) is a rare chromosomal disorder in which some DNA is missing or has been deleted on the short arm region, “p”, of one of the 9th Chromosomes (9p22.2-p23). This deletion either happens de novo or a result of a parent having the chromosome abnormality. This rare chromosome abnormality is often diagnosed after birth when development delay, irregular facial features, and structural irregularities within the heart, and genital defects are noticed. Treatments for this syndrome usually focus on fixing the common malformations associated with this syndrome. Chromosome 9p deletion syndrome was first discovered in 1973 when 3 infants with similar clinical features were observed to have a partial deletion of the short arm of Chromosome 9. Alfi Conteh Lacalle (born 18 January 1985), simply known as Alfi in Spain, is a Spanish-born Sierra Leonean professional footballer who plays as a centre forward for Louisiana Krewe in USL League Two. Alfi Kabiljo
Alfons 'Alfi' Kabiljo (; born 22 December 1935 in Zagreb, Croatia) is a Croatian composer and musician. He has been composing for over 60 years. During that time he has created an opus of more than 40 film and more than 100 episode soundtracks, eleven musicals, two musical films and two ballets. His musicals have been performed over 2000 times. He was taught music by the Croatian composer Rudolf Matz and later enrolled the Vatroslav Lisinski music school. Roger Samyn helped him brush up his composing skills. Although he received a degree on the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb, Alfi Kabiljo has never made use of it. He has spent most of his life in the Zagreb neighborhood of Šalata, although he stayed in Paris for a short while. Hassan Al Alfi
Hassan Al Alfi ( ar, حسن الألفي; 3 March 1936 – 3 November 2021) was an Egyptian police major and politician, who served as governor and interior minister of Egypt from 1993 to 1997. He resigned from office following the Luxor massacre. Career Alfi was the governor of Asyut province until 18 April 1993. He was appointed interior minister by President Hosni Mubarak to the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Atef Sedki on 18 April 1993, replacing Abdul Halim Moussa in the post. Alfi was not a member of Mubarak's party when he was appointed. Alfi implemented heavy-handed security steps to crack down on the Islamist militants, reducing their hit-and-run attacks during his tenure. Alfi resigned from office on 18 November 1997, the day after more than 60 people were murdered by Gama'a al Islamiyya in Luxor. He was succeeded by Habib Al Adli as interior minister.
