Alexis Dubus
Alexis Dubus (born 1979) is an English alternative comedian and actor known for his French alter ego Marcel Lucont. Born in Buckinghamshire, he studied Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Warwick, where he became part of the sketch troupe Ubersausage. In 2003 he set up Falling Down With Laughter Comedy Club in London Bridge with fellow comedian Sy Thomas. The club ran until 2010. He is a board member of The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society, at which he has appeared in various guises. Dubus studied Le Jeu and Clowning at École Philippe Gaulier under master clown Philippe Gaulier. His television acting roles include ''Nathan Barley'' (Channel 4), ''Pramface'' (BBC3), ''Derek'' (Channel 4) and ''Red Dwarf XI'' (Dave). Buckinghamshire
Buckinghamshire (), abbreviated Bucks, is a ceremonial county in South East England that borders Greater London to the south-east, Berkshire to the south, Oxfordshire to the west, Northamptonshire to the north, Bedfordshire to the north-east and Hertfordshire to the east. ''Best Bits'' is a New Zealand comedy show, where a panel of comedians comment on video clips taken from television during the week prior. It is produced by The Down Low Concept, and hosted by comedian Te Radar in the first series and ex-''Seven Sharp'' presenter and comedian Jesse Mulligan in the second and third series. The first series premiered on TV One on 19 July 2013, and ended in October 2013 with "Best Bits of Best Bits", an episode where highlights from the past series were revisited. Fringe World, formerly Fringe World Festival, is an annual multi-arts fringe festival held in Perth, Western Australia during the city's summer festival season of January/February. The Adelaide Fringe, formerly Adelaide Fringe Festival, is the world's second-largest annual arts festival (after the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Between mid-February and mid-March each year, it features more than 7,000 artists from around Australia and the world. Over 1,300 events are staged in hundreds of venues, which include work in a huge variety of performing and visual art forms. BBC Radio 4 Extra (formerly BBC Radio 7) is a British digital radio station from the BBC, broadcasting archived repeats of comedy, drama and documentary programmes nationally, 24 hours a day. It is the sister station of BBC Radio 4 and the principal broadcaster of the BBC's spoken-word archive, and as a result the majority of its programming originates from that archive. It also broadcasts extended and companion programmes to those broadcast on Radio 4, and provides a "catch-up" service for certain programmes.
