Alexis Davis (fighter)
Alexis Evelyn Chris Davis (born October 4, 1984) is a Canadian mixed martial artist who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where she is a former Title challenger. She is a Canadian Open grappling champion. Early life Davis was a young girl when she got interested in martial arts. She was big fan of Action movies starring the likes of Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Jean-Claude Van Damme and was a big fan of boxing and later MMA. She was a youngster when she decided to start practicing martial arts and was around the age of 16 when she started jujutsu and BJJ at age of 18. Mixed martial arts career Early career Davis made her mixed martial arts debut on April 7, 2007, at UCW 7: Anarchy. She was defeated by former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman via TKO in the third round. On December 14, 2007, Davis defeated Valérie Létourneau by split decision at TKO 31: Young Guns. Port Colborne
Port Colborne is a city in Ontario, Canada that is located on Lake Erie, at the southern end of the Welland Canal, in the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario. The original settlement, known as Gravelly Bay, dates from 1832 and was renamed after Sir John Colborne, a British war hero and the Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada at the time of the opening of the (new) southern terminus of the First Welland Canal in 1833. The city's population in 2021 was 20,033. History In pre-colonial times, Indigenous people of the Onguiaahra (Neutral Iroquois) lived in the area, due in part to the ready availability of flint and chert from outcroppings on the Onondaga Escarpment. Jennifer Tate
Jennifer Rose Tate (born September 2, 1985) is an American female mixed martial artist. Tate started training in Taekwondo at the age of 13, and she earned her Black belt. She was the Northern California Golden Gloves champion in 2007 and 2008. She was also a contestant on the Muay Thai themed reality series ''Fight Girls''. In episode five, Tate fought and loss to fellow housemate Miriam Nakamoto to a split decision. She fought in Thailand 4 times winning all four fights. Tate is 1-0 as a professional boxer. Tate is trained by Moses Cortes Stockton, California with boxing coach Richard Perez. Early life Tate was born in Lodi, California on September 2, 1985.
