Alexia Căruțașu
Alexia Căruțașu ( tr, Aleksia Karutasu; (born 10 June 2003) is a professional volleyball player who plays for Galatasaray and the Turkey national team. Born in Romania, she previously played for the Romania national team. Career She competed at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship, where Romania ranked sixth. She also competed at the 2018 Girls' U17 Volleyball European Championship, where the Romanian team placed fifth. She is the youngest debutant (13 Years, 4 Months) in the Divizia A1 history. She made her Romanian top-flight debut with CSM București in October 2016, coming on as a substitute against CSM Volei Alba Blaj. Galatasaray On 14 May 2021 she signed a contract with Galatasaray, on loan from VakıfBank S.K. for one season. It was announced that he returned to the Galatasaray team on 13 May 2024. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship is the sixteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship, contested by the women's national teams under the age of 18 of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament was held in Egypt from 5 to 14 September 2019. Egypt were chosen as the hosts for this event for the first time. The finals involve 20 teams, of which 19 came through qualifying competitions, while the host nation qualified automatically. Of the 20 teams, 13 had also appeared in the previous tournament in 2017, while Cameroon and DR Congo made their first appearances at a FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. The 2018 Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship was the thirteenth edition of the Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) the girls' under-17 national teams of Europe.
