Alexandru Spiridon
Alexandru Spiridon (born 20 July 1960) is a former professional footballer and current football manager from Moldova. Spiridon played as a midfielder during his football career, winning the Moldovan Footballer of the Year award in 1992. He made 16 appearances for the national team, scoring one goal. He worked as the assistant manager at Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg, joining the club in 2016 with manager Mircea Lucescu. Career Playing career Spiridon played as a midfielder during his football career, winning the Moldovan Footballer of the Year award in 1992. He began his career at Nistru Chișinău, before moving to SKA Kiev in 1982. He scored 3 goals in 34 games for the club. Spiridon rejoined Nistru Chișinău in 1983 and played 19 times in his first season. He made 16 appearances the following year, and played 23 times for the club in 1985, scoring 4 goals. Edineț
Edineț (, uk, Є́динці, yi, יעדינעץ, Yedinets, pl, Jedeńcy) is a town and municipality in northern Moldova. It is the administrative center of the eponymous district. The town is located 201 km north of the national capital, Chișinău. It is located at . The town administers two suburban villages, ''Alexăndreni'' and ''Gordineștii Noi''. The population at the 2004 census was 17,292 inhabitants, including 15,624 in the town itself.
