Alexandru Lăpușan
Alexandru Lăpușan (1 February 1955 – 17 May 2016) was a Romanian politician who served as Minister of Agriculture in Nicolae Văcăroiu's Cabinet (1992–1996). He was member of the Chamber of Deputies (1990–1992) for Cluj County, being named by the National Salvation Front. He was also Mayor of Dej in 1991. Cluj County (; german: Kreis Klausenburg, hu, Kolozs megye) is a county ( județ) of Romania, in Transylvania. Its seat ( ro, Oraș reședință de județ) is Cluj-Napoca (german: Klausenburg). Valeriu Tabără (; born July 1, 1949) is a Romanian agronomist and politician. A member of the Romanian National Unity Party (PUNR) and later the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L), he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Timiș County from 1992 to 2000, representing the same county from 2004 to 2012. In the Nicolae Văcăroiu cabinet, he was Minister of Agriculture from 1994 to 1996, and he held the same position in the Emil Boc cabinet from 2010 to 2012. Biography He was born in Sălciua, Alba County, and in 1967 completed secondary studies at the high school in Baia de Arieş. From then until the following year, Tabără attended the Technical Financial School, and from 1968 to 1973, studied at the Timișoara Agronomy Institute, becoming an agronomic engineer upon graduation and earning a doctorate in Agronomy in 1984. Nicolae Văcăroiu (; born on 5 December 1943 in Cetatea Albă, now Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Ukraine) is a Romanian politician, member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), who served as Prime Minister between 1992 and 1996. Before the 1989 Revolution he worked at the Committee for State Planning, together with Theodor Stolojan.
