Alexandra Lethbridge
Alexandra Lethbridge (born 1987) is a Hong Kong-born conceptual artist working with photography and installation, living in the UK. She self-published ''The Meteorite Hunter'' in 2014, work from which was exhibited at The Photographers' Gallery in London. ''The Path of an Honest Man'' was exhibited at Format Festival in Derby and work from ''Other Ways of Knowing'' exhibited at The Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography in Moscow. Early life and education Lethbridge was born in Hong Kong. She studied at Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton in the UK, and at the International Center of Photography in New York City. She earned a Masters in Photography from the University of Brighton in the UK. The Photographers' Gallery
The Photographers' Gallery was founded in London by Sue Davies opening on 14 January 1971, as the first public gallery in the United Kingdom devoted solely to photography. It is also home to the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, established in 1996 to identify and reward photographic talent and innovation, and the Bar-Tur Photobook Award. Open Eye Gallery
Open Eye Gallery is a photography gallery and archive in Liverpool, UK that was established in 1977. It is housed in a purpose-built building on the waterfront at Mann Island, its fourth location. Open Eye Gallery comprises an exhibition space on one floor and an archive space on another, and has large-scale graphic art installations on its external facade. It is the only gallery dedicated to photography and related media in North West England. It is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity. Magenta Foundation
The Magenta Foundation is a charitable art publishing house based in Toronto. It was established in 2004 by MaryAnn Camilleri to publish work from both domestic and international emerging artists through exhibitions and publications. In 2005 the foundation produced its first book, ''Carte Blanche Vol.1: Photography'', with the proceeds supporting the promotion and publication of work by artists between the ages of 13 and 25. Magenta publications and exhibitions are circulated in Canada and abroad, and the foundation brings international contemporary art to Canadian audiences.
