Alexandra Aristoteli
Alexandra Aristoteli (born 24 May 1997) is an Australian group rhythmic gymnast who represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Aristoteli began ballet when she was four years old because her mother, Maria Aristoteli, is the director of Queensland Dance and Performing Arts. She began training full-time in ballet when she was fifteen years old and spent months training in the United States at the Houston Ballet Academy and the Miami City Ballet School. Aristoteli began competing with Australia's senior rhythmic gymnastics group in 2018. At the 2018 World Championships, the group finished twenty-ninth in the all-around. Aristoteli won a gold medal at the 2021 Oceanic Championships with the Australian senior group and qualified a quota for the 2020 Olympic Games. Bankstown
Bankstown is a suburb south west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 16 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district and is located in the local government area of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, having previously been the administrative centre of the City of Bankstown prior to 2016. Career White grew up studying ballet at the Queensland National Ballet School. She began rhythmic gymnastics when she was nine. The Women's rhythmic group all-around competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics were held at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre in Tokyo, Japan, with the qualification taking place at 7 August and the final on 8 August. Russian rhythmic gymnasts were the five-time defending champions in the event. Competition format The competition consisted of a qualification round and a final round. The top eight teams in the qualification round advance to the final round. In each round, the teams perform two routines (one with 5 balls, one with 3 hoops and 2 pairs of clubs), with the scores added to give a total.
