Alexandr Belousov
Alexandr Belousov (born 14 May 1998) is a Moldovan footballer who plays as a defender for Bulgarian club Spartak Varna. Club career Belousov made his professional debut for Sheriff Tiraspol in the Moldovan National Division on 24 June 2018, coming on as a 90th-minute substitute in the away match against Zimbru Chișinău, which finished as a 1–0 win. He was loaned out to Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol for the first half of the 2020–21 season. On 5 March 2022, he was loaned out to Sfîntul Gheorghe for the rest of the 2021–22 season. In November 2022, Belousov signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Bulgarian club Spartak Varna. International career He made his debut for Moldova national football team on 18 November 2020 in a Nations League game against Kosovo. He substituted Dan Spătaru in the 85th minute. Fotbal Club Sheriff (russian: ФК Шериф Тирасполь), commonly known as Sheriff Tiraspol or simply Sheriff, is a Moldovan professional football club based in Tiraspol, a city located in the unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria. Founded in 1997 as ''Tiras Tiraspol'' and rebranded the following year as ''Sheriff'', it quickly established itself within Moldovan football. "The Wasps" recorded their debut in the first league in the 1998–99 season, when they also won their first trophy, the Moldovan Cup. They have since amassed twenty championship titles, eleven Cups and seven Super Cups–all competition records. The 2020–21 UEFA Nations League C was the third division of the 2020–21 edition of the UEFA Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA. Format Following a format change from the first season, League C was expanded from 15 to 16 teams. The league consisted of UEFA members ranked from 33–48 in the 2018–19 UEFA Nations League overall ranking, split into four groups of four. Each team played six matches within their group, using the home-and-away round-robin format on double matchdays in September, October and November 2020. The 2020–21 season is FC Sheriff Tiraspol's 24th season, and their 23rd in the Divizia Naţională, the top-flight of Moldovan football.
