Alexander Virgili
Alexander Virgili ( Naples) is an Italian political scientist, analyst and disaster management expert. He is currently serving as Secretary General of the Corpo Italiano di San Lazzaro, Deputy Executive Director of the Centro Studi Internazionali and member of the Advisory Board of the Lazarus Union. Biography Virgili grew up in Naples, Italy, graduating from the University of Naples Federico II in political science and international relations. He later obtained a Master in Space Institutions and Policies at SIOI, in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency, and specializations in ceremonies and protocol. Virgili served in the National Board of the Corpo Italiano di San Lazzaro since 2016, and President of the UNYA of Italy between 2019 and 2021. Marcianise
Marcianise is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Caserta, Campania, southern Italy. History In the area of the commune of Marcianise numerous tombs of Etruscan and Roman age have been excavated, although Oscan elements should have pre-existed. The origin of the today's city are uncertain. It was allegedly founded in the 6th century CE by bands of Ostrogoths after their defeat in the Gothic War. In 861 it was probably destroyed by the Saracens along with Capua. After the creation of the Duchy of Capua, Marcianise followed the latter's history. The area was repeatedly struck by cholera but, according to a legend, the city was miraculously spared by the July 1706 plague through the intercession of the Holy Crucifix. Emergency management or disaster management is the managerial function charged with creating the framework within which communities reduce vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters. Emergency management, despite its name, does not actually focus on the management of emergencies, which can be understood as minor events with limited impacts and are managed through the day to day functions of a community.
