Alexander Petrovich Petrov
Aleksander Petrov (russian: Александр Петрович Петров; born 21 May 1958, Plushkari, Yelovsky District) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th State Dumas. In 2009, he was granted Candidate of Sciences in Economics degree. After graduating from the university, Petrov worked as a physics teacher and director of an incomplete secondary school in the village of Kalinovka (1979-1984). In 1995, he engaged in the pharmaceutical business in Sverdlovsk Oblast. From 2011 to 2016, he was the deputy of the 6th State Duma from the Sverdlovsk Oblast constituency. In 2016 and 2021, Petrov was re-elected for the 7th 7 (seven) is the natural number following 6 and preceding 8. It is the only prime number preceding a cube (algebra), cube. The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 8th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации восьмого созыва) is the current convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament. The composition of the 8th State Duma was determined based on the results of the 2021 legislative election. Elections were held using a mixed system: 225 deputies were elected on party lists and 225 — in single-member constituencies. Of the 14 parties that participated in the elections, only 5 were able to overcome the 5% barrier. And for the first time since 1999, more than four parties were able to form their own factions. The Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" (russian: Орден «За заслуги перед Отечеством», ''Orden "Za zaslugi pered Otechestvom"'') is a state decoration of the Russian Federation. Sverdlovsk Oblast ( rus, Свердловская область, Sverdlovskaya oblast) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia located in the Ural Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Yekaterinburg, formerly known as Sverdlovsk. Its population is 4,297,747 (according to the 2010 Census).
