Alexander Hendrickx
Alexander Robby Hendrickx (born 6 August 1993) is a Belgian field hockey player who plays for Dutch club Pinoké and the Belgian national team as a defender. Playing with thY1 HockeyLTD X, Hendrickx won 'top goal scorer' at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also won a gold medal with his team for Belgium. International career Junior national teams Hendrickx has represented Belgium at junior level in both Under 18 and Under 21 age groups. In 2010, Hendrickx was a member of the Belgium Under-18 side at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. The team won the bronze medal, defeating Ghana 4–1 in the third-place playoff. He made his debut for the Belgium Under 21 side, in 2012 at a qualifying for the Junior World Cup. Wilrijk
Wilrijk (; former, original spelling: ''Wilrijck'') is a district of the municipality and city of Antwerp in the Belgian province of Antwerp. Wilrijk had been a separate municipality before January 1, 1983; the enlarged municipality of Antwerp was decentralized in 2000 and Wilrijk became one of the city's nine districts. 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League
The 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League was the second season of the men's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in July 2014 in Sveti Ivan Zelina, Croatia and finished in December 2015 in Raipur, India. The Semifinals of this competition also served as a qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics as the 6 highest placed teams apart from the host nation and the five continental champions qualified. Ghana Men's National Field Hockey Team
The Ghana men's national field hockey team represents Ghana in men's international field hockey competitions and is controlled by the Ghana Hockey Association, the governing body for field hockey in Ghana. Ghana is ranked at 36 according to FIH Rankings (as of June 2019). Ghana participated in the Hockey World League for the first time in 2016–2017. In Round 1, they played in the African group with Kenya, Namibia and Nigeria, winning all three pool matches including a 1-0 victory over the strong Kenyan team.
