Alexander Christiansson
Alexander Christiansson (born 1981) is a Swedish politician and member of the Riksdag for the Sweden Democrats party. Christiansson is the son of musician Ulf Christiansson who founded the Swedish rock band Jerusalem. He worked as an accounts manager for Scandinavian Airlines and Eniro before founding a business called ''Aspit Sverige AB.'' He was the Sweden Democrats candidate for the diocese of Gothenburg during the 2017 Swedish church elections. Following the 2018 Swedish general election, Christiansson was elected to the Gothenburg Municipality constituency and takes seat 263 in the Riksdag. He serves on the EU Committee in parliament and is a Swedish delegation member to the Council of Europe. Lerum is a locality and the seat of Lerum Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 16,855 inhabitants in 2010. Gothenburg Municipality
Gothenburg Municipality (''Göteborgs kommun'' or ''Göteborgs stad'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Gothenburg. When the first Swedish local government acts were implemented in 1863 the City of Gothenburg, founded and chartered in 1621, became a city municipality with an elected city council (''stadsfullmäktige''). Its territory has since then been added through amalgamations in 1868, 1906, 1922, 1931, 1945, 1948, 1967 and 1974. The Sweden Democrats ( sv , Sverigedemokraterna ; SD ) is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Sweden. As of 2022, it is the largest member of Sweden's right-wing governing bloc to which it provides confidence and supply, and is the second largest party in the Riksdag. The party describes itself as social conservative with a nationalist foundation. Jerusalem (Swedish Band)
Jerusalem is a Swedish Christian rock band, founded in 1975 by Ulf Christiansson. It was one of the first bands to combine Christianity, Christian lyrics with a hard rock and heavy metal music, heavy metal sound. 2018 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 9 September 2018 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag. Regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The incumbent minority government, consisting of the Social Democrats and the Greens and supported by the Left Party, won 144 seats, one seat more than the four-party Alliance coalition, with the Sweden Democrats winning the remaining 62 seats. The Social Democrats' vote share fell to 28.3 percent, its lowest level of support since 1911. The main opposition, the Moderates, lost even more support. The Sweden Democrats made gains, though less than anticipated.
