Alexander Bergström
Alexander Bergström (born January 18, 1986) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Karlskrona HK of the Hockeyettan (Div.1). Playing career Bergström after playing exclusively in the HockeyAllsvenskan belatedly made his Swedish Hockey League debut playing with Karlskrona HK during the 2015–16 SHL season. After two seasons in the SHL, Bergström spent his first season abroad in Russia with HC Sibir Novosibirsk Hockey Club Sibir Novosibirsk Oblast (russian: ХК Сибирь, en, Siberia HC), also known as HC Sibir or Sibir Novosibirsk, is a Russian professional ice hockey team based in Novosibirsk. Karlskrona HK is a Swedish ice hockey club located in Karlskrona, Sweden, established in 2001. They played three seasons in the top-tier Swedish Hockey League (SHL) between the 2015–16 and 2017–18 seasons. Their home arena is NKT Arena Karlskrona which has a capacity of 5,050 spectators. History Following an impressive 2014–15 season, Karlskrona HK qualified for the SHL, only 14 years after the club was established. Important factors for the promotion were strong team play, reliable goaltending by Patrick Galbraith and offensive production by Joel Kellman (39 points) and Filip Cruseman (20 goals). Goal (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. A goal awards one point to the team attacking the goal scored upon, regardless of which team the player who actually deflected the puck into the goal belongs to (see also own goal). Typically, a player on the team attempting to score shoots the puck with their stick towards the goal net opening, and a player on the opposing team called a goaltender tries to block the shot to prevent a goal from being scored against their team. 2006–07 Division 1 Season (Swedish Ice Hockey)
2006–07 was the eighth season that Division 1 functioned as the third-level of ice hockey in Sweden, below the second-level HockeyAllsvenskan and the top-level Elitserien (now the SHL). Format The 52 participating teams played the first half of the season in six groups divided geographically. The successful teams then moved into three new groups (the Allettan groups), while the remaining teams played in a continuation of their smaller existing groups. The teams with the worst records in these continuation groups were then forced to defend their places in Division 1 against challengers from Division 2 (see " relegation tournament" below) in a round-robin tournament called ''Kvalserien till Division 1''. J20 SuperElit
J20 Nationell is a junior ice hockey league composed of 20 teams in Sweden. Previously known as the J20 SuperElit, it is the highest-level junior ice hockey league in Sweden. The teams are divided in two groups, or divisions, ''Norra'' (North) and ''Södra'' (South), and are usually associated with a professional team in either the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) or HockeyAllsvenskan in order to develop talented youth for the professional teams.
