Alexa Centre (German: Alexa Einkaufszentrum) or simply Alexa, is a shopping centre near Alexanderplatz in Berlin, Germany. With a rental area of , it was the second-largest shopping centre in Berlin at the time of its opening, after Gropius Passagen, but Alexa was the largest in terms of number of shops (180 vs. 151). Mitte () is the first and most central borough of Berlin. The borough consists of six sub-entities: Mitte proper, Gesundbrunnen, Hansaviertel, Moabit, Tiergarten and Wedding. It is one of the two boroughs (the other being Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg) which were formerly divided between East Berlin and West Berlin.
