Alex Skolnick Trio
Alex Skolnick (born September 29, 1968) is an American musician. He is best known as the lead guitarist and one of the songwriters of the thrash metal band Testament (band), Testament and has played with several other bands, including The Alex Skolnick Trio, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Savatage and the heavy metal music, heavy metal supergroup Metal Allegiance. Skolnick began his musical career at the age of 15 when he joined the local Bay Area thrash metal band Legacy, which eventually became Testament, and performed on five albums with them, between ''The Legacy (album), The Legacy'' (1987) and ''The Ritual (Testament album), The Ritual'' (1992). ''First Strike Still Deadly'' is the ninth studio album by Testament, released in 2001. It consists of re-recorded songs released on ''The Legacy'' and '' The New Order'', as well as a re-recording of "Reign of Terror", which was originally on Legacy's ''Demo 1'' and appeared as a B-side from the "Trial by Fire" single; the latter version also appeared on the 1993 EP ''Return to the Apocalyptic City''. On some Japanese versions of this release, a different cover is present, and the disc is an enhanced CD and includes a bonus documentary with live clips of various incarnations of the band. Michael Schenker
Michael Schenker (born 10 January 1955) is a German guitarist. He played in the rock band UFO and leads the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of the hard rock band Scorpions, a band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s, Schenker joined UFO, playing lead and rhythm guitar. Randy Rhoads
Randall William Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American guitarist. He was the co-founder and original guitarist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot, and the guitarist and co-songwriter for Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo albums ''Blizzard of Ozz'' (1980) and '' Diary of a Madman'' (1981). Rhoads was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Originally educated in classical guitar, Rhoads combined these early influences with heavy metal, helping to form a subgenre later known as neoclassical metal. John Dawson Winter III (February 23, 1944 – July 16, 2014) was an American singer and guitarist. Winter was known for his high-energy blues rock albums and live performances in the late 1960s and 1970s.
