Alex Roe
Alexander Michael Roe-Brown (born 9 May 1990) is a British actor. He is best known for playing Jay Keaton in the series ''The Fugitives(TV series), The Fugitives'', Elliott Baden in ''The Cut (UK TV series), The Cut'' and Benjamin Pownall in ''Siren (TV series), Siren''. He has also played major roles in a number of films, including ''Hot Summer Nights (film), Hot Summer Nights'', ''Rings (2017 film), Rings'' and ''Forever My Girl''. Early life and education Roe was born in London, and grew up in Ladbroke Grove. His father worked as a plumber and his mother was a ballet dancer. He won a Sixth form, sixth-form scholarship to Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith where he studied until 2009. Sunday League Football
Sunday league football is a term used in Britain and Ireland to describe the amateur association football competitions which take place on Sunday rather than the more usual Saturday. The term pub league may also be used, owing to the number of public houses that enter teams. ''Our Country's Good'' is a 1988 play written by British playwright Timberlake Wertenbaker, adapted from the Thomas Keneally novel ''The Playmaker''. The story concerns a group of Royal Marines and convicts in a penal colony in New South Wales, in the 1780s, who put on a production of ''The Recruiting Officer''. It was first staged at the Royal Court Theatre, London, on 10 September 1988, directed by Max Stafford-Clark. It ran on Broadway in 1991. Background In the 1780s, convicts and Royal Marines were sent to Australia as part of the first penal colony there.
