Alexander Antony Parsons (born 7 September 1992) is an English Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Worthing F.C., Worthing. He made his debut in Football League One for AFC Bournemouth in 2012. Career Parsons was born in Worthing, West Sussex. He joined AFC Bournemouth on a two-year scholarship in the summer of 2009, and signed his first professional contract at the end of his scholarship. In August 2011, Parsons and Dan Strugnell joined Southern Football League, Southern League Division One club Wimborne Town F.C., Wimborne Town on a three-month loan deal. He made his professional debut for Bournemouth on 2 January 2012, in a 2–0 Football League Two, League Two win over Wycombe Wanderers F.C., Wycombe Wanderers, coming on as a late substitute for Marc Pugh. Worthing () is a seaside town in West Sussex, England, at the foot of the South Downs, west of Brighton, and east of Chichester. The Nike Football Academy was an English football academy funded and administered by Nike, Inc. The academy had a revolving squad of unsigned under-20 players and was run with the intention of helping them find a professional club. The academy was based at St George's Park National Football Centre. The squad was made up of players scouted worldwide and drafted to the squad through Nike Most Wanted trials. Over 50 players have gone on to play professional football over the years. The programme was led by Manager Jon Goodman, with former Wolverhampton Wanderers player Matt Murray who worked as Assistant Manager. Paul Groves (footballer)
Paul Groves (born 28 February 1966) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. He is currently the assistant coach of Indian Super League club NorthEast United. He notably captained and managed Grimsby Town. He was naturally a central midfield player, but later in his career was used as a central defender. He also played in the Football League for Leicester City, Lincoln City, Blackpool, West Bromwich Albion and Scunthorpe United having also played at non-league level for Belper Town, Burton Albion, York City and Stafford Rangers. His playing career lasted from 1986 until 2006. He was player/manager at Grimsby Town from 2001 until 2004, he eventually retired in 2006 whilst he was player/assistant manager at Stafford Rangers. Marc Pugh
Marc Anthony Pugh (born 2 April 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder. He has played in the English Football League and Premier League for Bury, Shrewsbury Town, Luton Town, Hereford United, AFC Bournemouth and Hull City. Pugh started his career with Burnley, where he progressed through the youth system. He was released by the club having made his first-team debut while on loan at Kidderminster Harriers and signed a short-term contract with Bury in 2006.
