Alex Kushnir
Alexander Kushnir ( he, אָלֶכְּסַנְדֶּר (אָלֵכְּס) קוּשְׁנִיר, born 2 November 1978) is an Israeli politician. He currently serves as a member of the Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu. Biography Kushnir was born in the Soviet Union. In 1992, he immigrated to Israel with his mother, settling in Ashkelon. He joined the Israeli Defense Forces as a combatant in the Givati Brigade, rising to become a company commander in the brigade. Upon his release from the IDF, he enlisted in Shin Bet and held a variety of field positions. Kushnir graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA with an internship in finance from Ono Academic College. He has held management positions in the energy, retail, and finance sectors and served as a representative of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in Belarus. Drohobych
Drohobych ( uk, Дрого́бич, ; pl, Drohobycz; yi, דראָהאָביטש;) is a city of regional significance in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Drohobych Raion and hosts the administration of Drohobych urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. In 1939–1941 and 1944–1959 it was the center of Drohobych Oblast. The city was founded at the end of eleventh century as an important trading post and transport node between Kyiv Rus' and the lands to the West of Rus'. Snap legislative elections were held in Israel on 17 September 2019 to elect the 120 members of the 22nd Knesset. Following the previous elections in April, incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a governing coalition for a second consecutive time. Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family.
