Alex Kessidis
Alex Michel Bjurberg Kessidis (born 23 March 1995) is a Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a silver medalist at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships and a bronze medalist at the 2020 European Wrestling Championships and the 2019 European Games. He represented Sweden at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Early life Kessidis and his brother Laokratis Kessidis, also a Greco-Roman wrestler, were born and raised in Sweden by a Greek father and a Swedish mother. In wrestling competitions his brother had chosen to represent Greece whereas Alex Kessidis represents Sweden. Career He competed in the 80kg event at the 2016 World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary and in the same event at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships held in Paris, France. The following year, he competed in the 77kg event at the 2018 European Wrestling Championships held in Kaspiysk, Russia. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Viktor Nemeš ( sr-Cyrl, Виктор Немеш; hu, Nemes Viktor, born 21 July 1993) is a Serbian Greco-Roman wrestler. His twin brother Mate Nemeš is also a wrestler. Biography Nemeš represented Serbia at the first ever European Games and was the first competitor for Serbia to win a medal at the 2015 European Games when he won his silver medal, losing to the Azerbaijani Elvin Mursaliyev. Aleksandr Chekhirkin
Aleksandr Konstantinovich Chekhirkin (russian: Александр Константинович Чехиркин; born 13 March 1986) is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a three-times national champion, having won in 2009, 2017 and 2018. Internationally, Chekhirkin won the 2014 European Wrestling Championships in Vantaa, Finland, defeating 2012 Olympic silver medallist Arsen Julfalakyan in the final. He was originally runner-up at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships, losing to Serbian wrestler Viktor Nemeš, but his medal was later stripped off due to doping (glucocorticoid). At the 2018 World Wrestling Championships he earned the gold medal for the Russian Federation at 77 kilos.
