Alex Harris (swimmer)
Alex James Harris (3 January 1975 – 27 October 2009) was an Australian Paralympic swimmer, who represented Australia at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens. Harris was born in Geelong, Victoria, and attended Western Heights College where he was a champion sportsman and school captain. In 1993, aged 18, he was involved in a traffic collision at Breamlea when the car in which Harris and several friends were travelling was struck by another vehicle. One of the car's occupants was killed, and Harris was pulled from the car by a volunteer firefighter who heard the crash. He was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, and was not expected to live. The accident left him with a closed head injury to his brain. Whilst undergoing physical therapy to enable him to walk again, Harris discovered that he could still swim very well. Alex Harris (basketball)
Alexander Cory Harris (born January 30, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player. He played eleven seasons in several European countries. Harris played collegiately for UC Santa Barbara where he was the 2008 Big West Conference co-Player of the Year. College career Harris played high school basketball for St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, California), leading them to a California Division 4 championship as a senior. He joined the University of California at Santa Barbara, playing in the Big West Conference of the NCAA Division I, in 2004. In his junior season in 2006–07, Harris made a leap in his production, raised his scoring average from 8.3 points per game to a Conference 21.1. In his senior season, Harris was named to the preseason All-Big West team and continued his strong play, averaging 20.2 points per game. Alexander David Harris (born 31 August 1994) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Berwick Rangers. He has played in the Scottish Premier League, Scottish Premiership and Scottish Championship for Hibernian, Dundee, Queen of the South and Falkirk, and in the for Edinburgh City. Club career Born in Edinburgh, Harris attended Edinburgh Academy and played for the Civil Service Strollers under-12 team, alongside future Hibernian teammate Danny Handling. Alex Tobiasson Harris
Alex Tobiasson Harris is a Swedish Muay Thai kickboxer training at Fighter Muay Thai in Gothenburg, Sweden. He is the current WMC World Super Middleweight champion. Biography A technical Thai boxer with a leaning towards flamboyance, Harris won the Swedish national Muay Thai championships in 2008, 2010 and 2012. Late 2011 saw him earn one of his biggest wins when he fought the K-1 MAX standout Yoshihiro Sato and took a unanimous decision win. On April 28, 2012, he challenged Aiello Batonon from France for the WMC World Super Middleweight title. After 5 rounds Harris had all judges on his side. Harris is the fifth Sweden ever to conquer a WMC World title. He successfully defended his title on the 16 November 2012 knocking out Pidsanu 'Madsua' Kinchat from Thailand.
