Alejandro Manuel Cevallos Villaciencio (born August 3, 1967) is a retired Ecuadorian football goalkeeper that played most of his career for Emelec and played for the Ecuador national football team. Ancón is a rural Parish (administrative division), parish of Santa Elena Canton, Santa Elena canton in the provinces of Ecuador, province of Guayas Province, Guayas, Ecuador. People began settling in the area in late 1923, when the Government of Ecuador conceded 98 mine (industry), mines, occupying an area of 38,842 hectares, to the United Kingdom, British oil company Anglo Ecuadorian Oilfields. The Ecuador national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Ecuador) represents Ecuador in men's international football and is controlled by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF). They joined FIFA in 1926 and CONMEBOL a year later. Discarding an invitation to participate in the inaugural FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay, Ecuador did not make their tournament debut until 2002. After finishing above Brazil and Uruguay in the standings, the qualifying campaign marked the emergence of several players, such as Agustín Delgado, Álex Aguinaga, Iván Hurtado, Ulises de la Cruz and Iván Kaviedes, who would set the stage for Ecuador's achievements in the next decade. Club Deportivo Cuenca is an Ecuadorian football club based in Cuenca. They currently play in the Serie A, the top-flight football league in the country, and is one of two clubs from Cuenca to have played in the top-flight (the other being LDU Cuenca). Club Deportivo Audaz Octubrino
Club Deportivo Audaz Octubrino is a professional football club from Machala, Ecuador that currently plays in the Segunda Categoría, the third tier of Football in Ecuador. Its stadium is called " 9 de Mayo" and has a capacity of about 10,000 people. The best ever success for Audaz came about in the 1987–88 season with president Teofilo Oyola Cevallos, when they finished 3rd in the Ecuadorian league, only losing out to Barcelona (Guayaquil) and Filanbanco ( Milagro, Guayas). That season Audaz was renowned as especially strong at home, beating, among others, El Nacional, Barcelona and Emelec.
