Alex Bugnon
Alex Bugnon (born October 10, 1958) is a jazz pianist and composer from Montreux, Switzerland. He is a nephew of Donald Byrd. Bugnon studied at the Paris Conservatory and the Mozart Academy in Salzburg. At age nineteen, he moved to the U.S. and attended the Berklee School of Music. His recording career began with his 1988 debut studio album ''Love Season'' for Orpheus Records, which reached the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart and the top 40 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, as did his follow-up ''Head Over Heels''. Montreux
Montreux (, , ; frp, Montrolx) is a Swiss municipality and town on the shoreline of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps. It belongs to the district of Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, and has a population of approximately 26,433, with about 85,000 in the agglomeration Vevey-Montreux as 2019. Narada ( sa, नारद, ), or Narada Muni, is a sage divinity, famous in Hindu traditions as a travelling musician and storyteller, who carries news and enlightening wisdom. ''Love Season'' is the debut studio album by jazz pianist Alex Bugnon. It was released in 1988 through Orpheus Records. Recording sessions took place at Presence Studios in East Haven, Connecticut, at Unique Studios, 39th Street Music Studio and Rawlston Recording Studio in New York City. The production was handled by Rahni Song, Poogie Bell and Victor Bailey with executive producer Beau Huggins. The album spawned three singles: "Piano in the Dark", "Going Out" and "Yearning for Your Love". The album peaked at number 127 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and at number 34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. Its singles "Going Out" and "Yearning for Your Love" made it to #83 and #85 respectively on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
