Alex Bell
Alexander Bell (20 October 1882 – 30 November 1934) was a association football, footballer who played as a wing half. His professional career was mostly spent in England, where he won trophies with Manchester United F.C., Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers F.C., Blackburn Rovers. Born in South Africa, he was largely raised in Scotland and made one appearance for the Scotland national football team, Scottish national team. Charlie Roberts
Charles Roberts (6 April 1883 – 7 August 1939) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre-half in the Football League for Grimsby Town, Manchester United and Oldham Athletic. He spent nine years at United, where he was captain, helping the club to two First Division titles and an FA Cup. He won three caps for England in 1905. Playing career Born in Darlington, Roberts started his football career with Bishop Auckland, but soon moved to Grimsby Town. In 1904, he was transferred to Manchester United for £600. The 1909 FA Cup Final was the final match of the 1908–09 FA Cup, the 38th season of England's premier club football cup competition. The match was played on 24 April 1909 at Crystal Palace, and was contested by Manchester United and Bristol City, both of the First Division. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Women's FA Cup.
