Alex Albright
Alex Albright (born January 29, 1988) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Boston College. Early years Albright is a 2006 graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati. He played defensive end in football and as a senior he registered 83 tackles with 12 sacks, while helping his team win the 2005 Division I state title. At the end of the season, he was named All-State, All-Southwest Ohio first-team, received the Greater Catholic League South Player of the Year award and played in the Ohio North-South Classic. He also was a starter on the school's basketball team that advanced to the 2005 Division I state championship game. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Injured reserve lists are used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster. Ernie Sims III (born December 23, 1984) is a former American football linebacker and current coach. He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. Early years A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Sims attended North Florida Christian High School, where he began his high school football career by earning a varsity letter while only in the eighth grade, a feat not often heard of. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns.
