Alette Coble-Temple is a professor of clinical psychology at John F. Kennedy University. She is a member of the disabled community as an advocate for equal rights for individuals with disabilities. She is also a leader among women in the field of psychology. She sits as both a member of the American Psychological Association Committee on Women in Psychology, and as a member of the APA's Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology. Alette Schreiner, Falch (18 May 1873 – 26 December 1951) was a Norwegian researcher. Personal life She was born in Oslo, Christiania as a daughter of district stipendiary magistrate Ingvald Falch (1825–1909) and Alette Louise Aubert (1850–1916), and a great-granddaughter of Benoni Aubert. She grew up in Eidsvoll. Her brother Ingvald Falch, Jr. (1884–1962) became a district stipendiary magistrate too. In September 1900 she married Kristian Schreiner. Their Johan Schreiner became a noted historian, and through another son, civil servant Fredrik Schreiner they had the grandson Per Schreiner, an economist and civil servant. Alette Marie Engelhart, née Nicolaysen (7 May 1896 – 13 August 1984) was a Norwegian housewives' leader. Biography Alette was born in Kristiania as a daughter of captain and engineer Anton Martin Schweigaard Nicolaysen (1870–1907) and Dorothea Jeanette Horn (1870–1943). She was a niece of Hassa Horn and a grandniece of Hassa Horn, Sr. She finished her secondary education at Frogner School in 1915, and graduated as a teacher from Nissen School in 1916. Alethe "Alette" Wilhelmine Georgine Due, née ''Sibbern'' (28 February 1812, Værne Kloster – 7 May 1887, Oslo), was a Norwegian singer, composer and courtier. Maria Aletta Hulshoff ( pen name, Mietje; 30 July 1781, Amsterdam – 10 February 1846, Amsterdam) was a Dutch Patriot, feminist and pamphleteer. Life Maria was the daughter of the Mennonite preacher Allard Hulshoff (1734-1795) and Anna Debora van Oosterwijk (1745-1812), and for her whole life held onto her father's democratic, Patriotic and anti- Orangist views. Her first pamphlet, writes her biographer Geertje Wiersma, was a dissertation on democracy written by the prominent patriot Samuel Iperusz Wiselius - it is possible it was published under her name to protect Wiselius, the real author. She was taken into custody but because the authorities understood that the young woman was not the real author and the evidence against Wiselius was insufficient, the affair came to nothing.
