Alessandro Rodrigo da Silva (born 28 August 1984) is a visually impaired Brazilian Paralympic athlete. Career He represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the gold medal in the discus throw F11 event. He also competed in the shot put F12 event where he finished in 10th place. The first Games were held in 1999 in Mexico City, Mexico. The 2003 Parapan American Games was the last Parapan American Games that was not held in the same city as the Pan American Games.
