Alessandro Cattaneo
Alessandro Cattaneo (born 12 June 1979 in Rho) is an Italian politician. He is a member of the centre-right party Forza Italia and served as Mayor of Pavia from June 2009 to May 2014. Cattaneo has been elected for the Chamber of Deputies at the 2018 general election. The Chamber of Deputies ( it, Camera dei deputati) is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament (the other being the Senate of the Republic). The two houses together form a perfect bicameral system, meaning they perform identical functions, but do so separately. The 2018 Italian general election was held on 4 March 2018 after the Italian Parliament was dissolved by President Sergio Mattarella on 28 December 2017.
