Alessandra Cappellotto
Alessandra Cappellotto (born August 27, 1968) is a retired racing cyclist from Italy. She represented her native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics: 1996, and 2000. She won the world title in the women's individual road race at the 1997 UCI Road World Championships in San Sebastian, Spain. Valeria Cappellotto, who died in 2015, was her sister. Sarcedo is a town in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. It is south of SP111. As of 2019 Sarcedo had an estimated population of 5,252. Geography The Northern area of Sarcedo is composed of fertile hills of volcanic origins, the Eastern natural border is the torrent Astico and the Western border is the torrent Igna, right next to the Vicentine Alps. The 1997 UCI Road World Championships took place in San Sebastián, Spain, between October 7 and October 12, 1997.
