Alexey Zaitsev (born 17 September 1993) is a Russian bobsledder. He competed in the four-man event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Personal life Zaitsev began dating Russian gymnast Aliya Mustafina in the fall of 2015 after meeting at a hospital where both were recovering from sports injuries. Aliya Farkhatovna Mustafina (russian: Алия Фархатовна Мустафина) is a Russian former artistic gymnast. With a combined total of 45 Olympic, World and European Championship medals, she is considered one of the most successful gymnasts of all time. She is the 2010 all-around world champion, the 2013 European all around champion, the 2012 and 2016 Olympic uneven bars champion and a seven-time Olympic medalist. Mustafina has tied with Svetlana Khorkina for the most won by a Russian gymnast (not including Soviet Union women's national artistic gymnastics team).
