Aleksey Sitnikov
Alexey Vladimirovich Sitnikov (russian: Алексей Владимирович Ситников; June 19, 1971, Krasnoye-na-Volge, Kostroma Oblast) is a Russian political figure, deputy of the 8th State Duma. From 2004 to 2016, Sitnikov was the deputy of the Kostroma Oblast Duma of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th convocations. In 2011, he was elected deputy of the 6th State Duma. In 2016 and 2021, he was re-elected for the 7th and 8th State Dumas. The State Duma (russian: Госуда́рственная ду́ма, r=Gosudárstvennaja dúma), commonly abbreviated in Russian as Gosduma ( rus, Госду́ма), is the lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia, while the upper house is the Federation Council of Russia, Federation Council. The Duma headquarters are located in central Moscow, a few steps from Manezhnaya Square, Moscow, Manege Square. Its members are referred to as deputies. The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 7th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации седьмого созыва) is a former convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament.
