Vladimir Aleksenko
Vladimir Avramovich Aleksenko (russian: Владимир Аврамович Алексенко; 27 January 1923 – 16 June 1995) was a ground-attack aviation squadron and regimental commander during World War II who was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. He was awarded his first Hero of the Soviet Union award for making 107 attack sorties, and his second award was for making another 143 sorties, but by the end of the war he reached a total of 292 attack sorties. After the war he remained in the military, becoming a became a Lieutenant general after graduation from the Military Academy of the General Staff. Between 1967 and 1974, he commanded the 5th Air Army. Early life Aleksenko was born on 27 January 1923 in the village of Kievskoye in Krasnodar Krai to a Russian peasant family. T-24 Tank
The T-24 was a Soviet medium tank built in 1931. Only twenty four were built, and none saw combat. This was the first tank produced at the KhPZ factory in Kharkov, which was later responsible for the very successful BT tank, BT series, T-34 and T-54 Soviet tanks. The T-24's suspension was used successfully in the Soviet Union's first purpose-built artillery tractors. The T-24's main armament was a 45 mm gun. It had a ball-mount 7.62 mm DT machine gun in the hull, another in the turret, and a third in a secondary turret atop the main turret. The tank was well-armoured for its time, but the engine and transmission had problems. The 2012–13 Krylia Sovetov Samara season was the 19th straight season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of football in Russia. Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko, or Mykhailo Oleksiienko ( ua, Михайло Олексієнко; born 30 September 1986) is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster. He was Ukrainian Chess Champion in 2016. Chess career Oleksiyenko was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 2005. He finished first in the Summer Olomouc Open in 2005, Breizh Masters tournament in 2006 and 2007, and Instalplast Open in 2006. In 2014 Oleksiyenko tied for first with Baadur Jobava and Sergey Fedorchuk, placing third on tiebreak, in the David Bronstein Memorial in Minsk. In 2015, he won the Karen Asrian Memorial in Jermuk with a score of 7/9 points, edging out Anton Korobov and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan on tiebreaks.
