Aleksandr Spiridonov
Alexander Yurievich Spiridonov (russian: Александр Юрьевич Спиридонов; 3 January 1989, Severodvinsk) is a Russian political figure, a deputy of the 8th State Duma. While studying at the Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University, Spiridonov started working at the Sevmash. In 2010, he was recognized as the best young worker at the enterprise. In 2019, Spiridonov won in The Leaders of Russia contest. He was engaged in various local social initiatives. Since September 2021, he has served as deputy of the 8th State Duma. The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 8th convocation (russian: Государственная Дума Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации восьмого созыва) is the current convocation of the lower house of Russian parliament. The composition of the 8th State Duma was determined based on the results of the 2021 legislative election. Elections were held using a mixed system: 225 deputies were elected on party lists and 225 — in single-member constituencies.
