Aleksander Aben
Aleksander Aben (19 July 1908 Kaarma Parish (now Saaremaa Parish), Kreis Ösel – 11 October 1991 Tallinn) was an Estonian politician. He was a member of VI Riigikogu VI Riigikogu was the sixth legislature of Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu). The legislature was elected after 1938 elections (held on 24–25 February 1938). It sat between 7 April 1938 and 5 July 1940, after which Estonia was occupied by the Sovie ... (its Chamber of Deputies). On 26 August 1939, he was removed from his position and he was replaced by Aleksander Jõeäär. After years in exile in the USSR and return to Estonia he was imprisoned in 1950, then rehabilitated in 1950. Saaremaa Parish
Saaremaa Municipality, also known as Saaremaa Rural Municipality ( et, Saaremaa vald), is a municipality in Saare County in western Estonia. It is the largest municipality in Estonia by land area. The administrative centre of the municipality is its only town Kuressaare. It is one of three parishes comprising the county, along with Muhu and Ruhnu Parish. Vorkuta
Vorkuta (russian: Воркута́; kv, Вӧркута, ''Vörkuta''; Nenets for "the abundance of bears", "bear corner") is a coal-mining town in the Komi Republic, Russia, situated just north of the Arctic Circle in the Pechora coal basin at the river Vorkuta. In 2010 its population was 70,548, down from 84,917 in 2002. Vorkuta is the fourth largest city north of the Arctic Circle and the easternmost town in Europe.
