Aleksandar "Saša" Pavlović (Anglicized: Sasha Pavlovic, sr-cyr, Александар "Саша" Павловић; born November 15, 1983) is a Serbian-Montenegrin basketball executive and former professional basketball player who spent ten seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), playing for the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Boston Celtics and the Portland Trail Blazers. He also represented the national basketball team of Serbia and Montenegro internationally. Standing at , he played the small forward and shooting guard positions. The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, consists of two stages: the First League which has 16 teams and the SuperLeague which has 8 teams. The 2013–14 Basketball League of Serbia season is the 8th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the highest professional basketball league in Serbia. It is also 70th national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2005. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions.
