Aleksandar Makedonski
Aleksandar Makedonski (Macedonian language: Александар Македонски, meaning in English: Alexander of Macedonia) was a Macedonian and former Yugoslav rock band. Biography Aleksandar Makedonski was formed in 1986 in Skopje, then in socialist Yugoslavia as an offshoot of the prominent punk rock group Badmingtons, and it included the frontman Vladimir Petrovski - Karter (guitar, vocals), Dejan Škartov-Deko (keyboards), Zoran Janković - Bajo (bass guitar), Vladimir Dimovski (drums) and the female singer Melita Stefanovska (backing vocals). Unlike Badmingtons, who were a punk band, Aleksandar Makedonski was initially a more pop-rock oriented act. Skopje
Skopje ( , , ; mk, Скопје ; sq, Shkup) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic centre. Mizar (album)
''Mizar'' is the eponymous debut studio album by the rock band Mizar. It was released in 1988 on Helidon record label. This is the first major rock record in Macedonian. In 1997, it was re-released as ''Svedozhba'', on CD and cassette with bonus live and demo tracks. The versions of the album tracks on ''Svedozhba'' are taken from vinyl. Goran Tanevski was the only Mizar member involved with the project. In 2003, this album and '' Svjat Dreams'' were remastered and rereleased, containing live and demo tracks. Gothic Rock
Gothic rock (also called goth rock or simply goth) is a style of rock music that emerged from post-punk in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. The first post-punk bands which shifted toward dark music with gothic overtones include Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Bauhaus, and the Cure. The genre itself was defined as a separate movement from post-punk.
