Aleksandar Knjazev
Aleksandar Knjazev ( mk, Александар Књазев) is a Macedonian professional basketball coach and former player. He spent most of his playing career in KK Rabotnički Skopje, and as a team leader he helped its promotion to the First Yugoslav Basketball League in 1964. He was the first coach of the Macedonia national basketball team after the country's independence in 1992. KK Vardar ( mk, КК Вардар) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. Established in 1947, the team has won the Macedonian National League five times and the Macedonian Cup once. History On 20 July 1947, MSD Makedonija and ŽSD Pobeda merged into the newly-established Vardar Sports Association, forming a new club named KK Vardar. KK Rabotnički ( mk, КК Работнички) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian First League and ABA League Second Division. The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945 and folded in 1992 (1991-92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia.
