Aleksandar Jovanović (; born 17 December 1985) is a Serbian retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Career During his career, Jovanović played almost exclusively in his hometown and represented OFK Niš, Sinđelić Niš, and most notably, Radnički Niš. He had two spells with Radnički between 2007 and 2019. In his second tenure at the club, Jovanović initially helped them return to the top flight after a decade (2012) and later secure a spot in European competitions after more than 30 years (2018). He also served as the team's captain, before leaving Radnički at the end of his contract in July 2019. 2010–11 Serbian First League
The 2010–11 Serbian First League was the sixth season of the league under its current name. It started on 14 August 2010 and concluded on 15 June 2011. BASK won the title and Radnički 1923 finished as runners-up, with both clubs earning promotion to the top flight. BASK later ceded its 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga spot to third-placed Novi Pazar for financial reasons and was administratively relegated to the Serbian League Belgrade. This decision allowed Kolubara to avoid relegation. Zemun, Big Bull Radnički and Dinamo Vranje were relegated to their respective Serbian League groups. Serbian League East (Serbian language, Serbian: Српска лига Исток / Srpska liga Istok) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, third tier of professional football in Serbia. The Serbian First League (), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. The 2015–16 Serbian SuperLiga is the tenth season of the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of league football in Serbia. The season started on 17 July 2015 and finished on 21 May 2016. Partizan were the defending champions. Changes from 2014–15 Structural changes The competition has been split into two stages, regular season and playoffs. Regular season Each of the 16 competitors in the SuperLiga hosts every other team once in the regular season, for a total of 30 matches. A win earns three points and a draw earns one point.
