The Serbian First Football League (Serbian: ''Prva Liga Telekom Srbija'') is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2010-11 season. Two teams will be promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga and four will be relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. Fudbalski klub Napredak Kruševac (), commonly known as Napredak Kruševac, is a Serbian professional football club based in the city of Kruševac. The word ''Napredak'' means "progress" in Serbian. The club's nickname is the Čarapani which translates in English to the sock-men, the origin of this nickname are from the times of the First Serbian Uprising, when the local insurgents took off their slippers and silently went to defend their homeland against the Ottoman occupation of Serbia, in socks. Serbia National Football Team
The Serbia national football team ( sr, Фудбалска репрезентација Србије, Fudbalska reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in men's international football competition. It is controlled by the Football Association of Serbia, the governing body for football in Serbia. After the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and its football team in 1992 Serbia was represented (alongside Montenegro) within the new FR Yugoslavia national football team. Despite qualifying for Euro 92 the team was banned from participating in the tournament due to international sanctions, with the ruling also enforced for World Cup 94 and Euro 96 qualifiers. The national team played its first friendly in December 1994, and with the easing of sanctions the generation of the 1990s eventually participated at World Cup 1998, reaching the round of 16, and the quarter-finals at Euro 2000. 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the sixth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The defending champions are Partizan, after having won their fourth Serbian Superliga title in a row at the conclusion of the previous season. Partizan successfully defended their title after a 4–0 victory at Borac Čačak with three games left to play. It was their fifth consecutive Serbian title and their 24th domestic championship. Teams Inđija and Čukarički were relegated to the 2011–12 Serbian First League after the 2010–11 season for finishing in 15th and 16th place, respectively. Čukarički completed a four-year tenure in the league, while Inđija had to immediately return to the First League. FK Srem () is a football club based in Sremska Mitrovica, Vojvodina, Serbia. They compete in the Sremska Mitrovica City League, the seventh tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as Građanski in 1919. They initially competed within the Belgrade Football Subassociation. FK Bežanija () is a football club based in Bežanija, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Inter-Municipal League, the sixth tier of the national league system. RFK Novi Sad 1921 (Serbian Cyrillic: РФК Нови Сад 1921) is a professional football club from Novi Sad, Serbia. The club is currently playing in the Serbian First League. Fudbalski klub Mladi Radnik ( sr-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Млади Радник) is a Serbian football club based in Požarevac. History FK Mladi Radnik was formed in 1926 and it was initially named SK Radnički.
