Alejo Sauras
Alejo Martín Sauras (born June 29, 1979 in Palma de Mallorca), is a Spanish actor who is best known as Raúl Martinez in ''Los Serrano''. Biography Sauras was born in Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca but he spend his childhood in Madrid. Sauras studied aviation electronics for a while but he left his studies to pursue acting. Along with his acting studies, he studied Japanese, which gave him two theatre roles afterward. He also studied dance with Sue Samuels of the Broadway Dance Center in 2001. Sauras begin to get small roles in television series and his breakthrough happened through the TV series ''Al salir de clase'' (1997–2001) where Sauras played a young gay man, Santi. Later, Sauras had roles in ''Y decirte una estupidez, por ejemplo, te quiero'' (2000) and ''Diario de una becaria'' (2003). He also made guest roles in television series. The Goya Awards ( es, Premios Goya) are Spain's main national annual film awards, commonly referred to as the Academy Awards of Spain. The awards were established in 1987, a year after the founding of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, and the first awards ceremony took place on March 16, 1987 at the Teatro Lope de Vega, Madrid. ''Broken Embraces'' ( es, Los abrazos rotos, links=no) is a 2009 Spanish romantic thriller film written, produced, and directed by Pedro Almodóvar. Led by an ensemble cast consisting of many Almodóvar regulars, it stars Lluís Homar as a blind Madrilenian screenwriter who recalls his tragic love for Lena, played by Penélope Cruz, the deceased lead actress in his last directional feature ''Girls and Suitcases'', who was also the mistress of a powerful, obsessive businessman (José Luis Gómez). ''Estoy vivo'' is a Spanish crime television series with supernatural and comedy elements.
