Alejandro Suárez Lozano
Alejandro Suárez Lozano (born 1980) also known as Alejandro Suárez, is a Spanish film director and writer. He wrote, directed, and produced several short films including ''The Fisherman'' and ''Hidden Soldier'', that received more than 70 awards and 300 official selections around the world. Suárez is currently working on his debut feature film ''Mogwai'' that is based on his short film ''The Fisherman'', in collaboration with British screenwriter Gary Young. Film career In 2016, Suárez took the Top Prize - Bucheon Award - and the Aurora Media prize for his sci fi horror feature film pitch, ''Mogwai'', at the Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF), a part of the new 7-day industry program BiFan Industry Gathering (BiG) in Bucheon, South Korea. Barakaldo ( es, Baracaldo; eu, Barakaldo ) is a municipality located in the Biscay province in the Basque Country. Achero Mañas (born Achero Mañas Amyach, 5 September 1966) is a Spanish film director and former actor. He made three successful short films before winning recognition and several awards for his feature film debut '' El Bola''. Biography Mañas was born in Madrid to actress Paloma Lorena and playwright Alfredo Mañas. Growing up in the neighbourhoods of Carabanchel and Estrella, he was surrounded and influenced by theatre, literature, and art from an early age, and this guided his academic pursuits and eventual career. Super 8 Film
Super 8 mm film is a motion-picture film format released in 1965 by Eastman Kodak as an improvement over the older "Double" or "Regular" 8 mm home movie format. The film is nominally 8 mm wide, the same as older formatted 8 mm film, but the dimensions of the rectangular perforations along one edge are smaller, which allows for a greater exposed area. The Super 8 standard also allocates the border opposite the perforations for an oxide stripe upon which sound can be magnetically recorded. Unlike Super 35 (which is generally compatible with standard 35 mm equipment), the film stock used for Super 8 is not compatible with standard 8 mm film cameras.
