Alejandro Osorio (footballer)
Luis Alejandro Osorio González (born 24 September 1976), commonly known as Alejandro Osorio or sometimes Janino, is a Chilean former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Flywheel offensive plays by right and his current team is Cobreloa of the First Division Chile. He was champion of the Apertura 1997 tournament and the 2005 Clausura tournament with Universidad Católica. International career Osorio played for Chile in both the 1993 FIFA U17 World Championship in Japan, where Chile reached the third place, and the 1995 FIFA U20 Championship in Qatar. In addition, he took part of Chile squad in the 1993 South American U17 Championship At under-23 level, he represented Chile in the 1996 Pre-Olympic Tournament. At senior level, he made eight appearances for Chile between 1997 and 2001, including both the 1997 and the 2001 Copa América. Rancagua
Rancagua () is a city and commune in central Chile and part of the Rancagua conurbation. It is the capital of the Cachapoal Province and of the O'Higgins Region, located south of the national capital of Santiago. It was originally named Santa Cruz de Triana by Spanish colonists. The 1995 FIFA World Youth Championship, known as the 1995 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Youth Championship for sponsorship purposes, was the 10th edition of the FIFA World Youth Championship. The FIFA U-17 World Cup, founded as the FIFA U-16 World Championship, later changed to U-17 in 1991 and to its current name in 2007, is the world championship of association football for male players under the age of 17 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Football Association'' ( FIFA). Darío del Carmen Gálvez Vargas (born 11 July 1975) is a Chilean former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for clubs in Chile and Ecuador. Career Born in Quinta de Tilcoco, Chile, Gálvez represented the Rengo city team and won the 1996 national amateur championship. The 2001 Copa América was held in Colombia, from 11 to 29 July. It was organised by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body. Colombia won the tournament for the 1st time without conceding a goal. Brazil national football team, Brazil were the defending champions who were knocked out from the tournament by Honduras national football team, Honduras after suffering a 0–2 defeat in the quarter-final. Bolivia hosted the Copa América for the second time in its 38th edition. It was held from 11 to 29 June. It was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body. There is no qualifying for the final tournament. All South American countries (10 countries) participate, along with two more invited countries, making a total of 12 teams competing in the tournament. In the 1997 edition, Costa Rica and Mexico were the invitees.
