Miss World 1995, the 45th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 1995 for the fourth straight year at the Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, North West, Sun City, South Africa. The 1995 pageant attracted 84 delegates. The pageant was hosted by Richard Steinmetz, Jeff Trachta, and Bobbie Eakes and also involved supermodels Linda Evangelista and Beverly Peele and Bruce Forsyth who acted as presenters. Aside from Sun City, North West, Sun City; Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the Comoros hosted some segments of the show. The winner was Jacqueline Aguilera of Venezuela. Sun City is a luxury resort and casino, situated in the North West Province of South Africa. Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country’s delegates to Miss Universe, Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm International, and Nuestra Latinoamericana Universal. The current Mexicana Universal is Irma Miranda of Sonora, who will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022. The 2nd Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro Morelos of Toluca, Estado de México, Mexico on October 22, 1995. Thirty-two contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Vanessa Guzmán from Chihuahua, who later competed at Miss Universe 1996 in US where she was finalist in the Top 6. Guzmán was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Luz MarÃa Zetina. She is the first blonde and only Chihuahuense to win this title.
