Aled Jenkins (rugby Player)
Aled Jenkins (born 22 April 1990) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for Ospreys regional team as a centre. Jenkins made his debut for the Ospreys regional team in 2014 having previously played for Aberavon RFC, Bridgend Ravens, Mumbles RFC and Swansea RFC. Aled also gained international status by playing for Wales 7s. Gareth John James Jenkins (born 11 September 1951) is a former Wales, Welsh rugby union rugby player, and former head coach of the Wales national rugby union team, Welsh national team. After a long and distinguished career at Llanelli RFC, Jenkins was appointed Wales coach in 2006, succeeding Mike Ruddock. He was sacked by the Welsh Rugby Union on 30 September 2007, following Wales' failure to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2007 Rugby World Cup. He left the role with just six wins from twenty test matches. Playing career Born in Burry Port, Jenkins played as a flanker for Llanelli RFC, Wales B side and the Barbarian F.C., Barbarians. Mumbles Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team based in Mumbles, Swansea, south Wales. Mumbles RFC is a member of the Welsh Rugby Union, and is a feeder club for the Ospreys. Bridgend Ravens ( cy, Cigfrain Pen-y-bont) (formerly Bridgend RFC) are a semi-professional rugby union club based in Bridgend, South Wales.
